Mike and Kyli Whittle

Co-Owner

Mike and Kyli, co-owners of Escapetown Peoria, are thrilled to bring this fun and entertaining activity to Peoria. They became hooked on escape rooms after completing their first game, “The Cabin,” at Champaign-Urbana Adventures in Space and Time. Ever since, they have been on a mission to find the next best escape room game! They love spending time with their beautiful daughter, Luna, and lovable, silly pooches, Nitro, Turbo, and Crash.

Steve and Kendra Whittle

Co-Owner

Steve, co-owner of Escapetown Peoria, is a financial analyst in St. Louis, MO, and a proud alum of Monmouth College. He has loved escape rooms since he solved the “Walk Like an Egyptian” clue in “The Tomb” room in downtown Maplewood, MO with his brothers and sisters-in-law. Steve enjoys waterskiing and hanging out with his three favorite girls, Kendra, Harper and Margot.

Beth Ann

Beth Ann

General Manager / Room Designer

Beth Ann is an escape enthusiast who has escaped nearly 50 rooms! She thoroughly enjoys playing, but also gets a kick out of being the general manager and game master for you, on occasion, as you try to escape! She was on the design team for Escapetown Peoria’s very own Santa’s Setback (Nov. 2021 – Apr. 2022) and Mystery at Skull Cabin (May. 2022 – ) and looks forward to designing more rooms in the future! She also participates on and off stage in many community theatre productions at both Corn Stock Theatre and Peoria Players Theatre, in her spare time.

Brian

Jonah

Assistant Manager / Room Designer

My name is Jonah Metzger and I’ve been a game master since April 2021! I have loved escape rooms since I did the Wild West room at EscapeTown Peoria a few years ago and even got to codesign Mystery at Skull Cabin (May. 2022 – ) with Beth Ann! I have escaped from 25-30 rooms since then! I love The Office, Grey’s Anatomy, and Game of Thrones (and was content with the finale). I have two cats and love them dearly. If you have played Santa’s Setback at ETP, yes, I was the kid you gave the coal to. I hope to one day create my own escape room!

Brian

Kris

Sales Manager / Game Master

Kris McClelland escaped from her first escape room over five years ago while visiting Branson. Her group started the game in the dark handcuffed to a wall. Since then she and her family have completed more games than she can count. She and her husband Gregg have six children, 3 grandchildren, a really cute mini schnauzer and 38 (yes 38) chickens!! They plan to start a farm in the coming years. She is excited to put her communications and theatre degree to use to expand the public knowledge of Escapetown and plan some fun special events!

Brian

Mitch

Game Master

Hi! I am Mitch Santini. I’m a 18-year-old senior at Illinois Valley Central High School. I’m a 4 year marcher for the Grey Ghosts and am in both of the jazz bands and our wind ensemble. When I graduate high school, I want to major in music education and minor in composition. I’ve always enjoyed doing escape rooms and I hope to see you here!

Brian

Izzy

Game Master

Hello! My name is Izzy Dorothy and I have been a game master since March of 2022. Although my job is at an escape room, I am actually not good at escape rooms at all! When I am not at work, I am playing in the marching band and singing in the choir for Dunlap High School. Hope to see you soon at Escapetown Peoria!!

Brian

Emma

Hey my name is Emma. I just recently graduated from IVC High School. I will be attending Drake University but will continue working during breaks and summers. My favorite game is Party House. Ryan

Game Master

Hey! I’m Ryan, your resident nerd! I’m a mechanical engineering student at the University of Illinois, and I also love drawing, writing, long walks, and watching Netflix (my favorite show is Stranger Things!). I’ve been playing escape rooms for several years now and am so excited to be running games for you while I’m in town!

Brian

Tyler

Game Master

I’m Tyler and I’ve been at Escapetown since March of 2022. I decided to be a game master because I thoroughly enjoy games and puzzles, as well as seeing other peoples thought process as they play them. I enjoy all things baseball and someday hope to visit every stadium across the country. My dog (stalking you through the left window) is my pride and joy, and while he looks big, he’s just a big softie. Hope to see you around Escapetown soon!
