Mike and Kyli Whittle
Mike and Kyli, co-owners of Escapetown Peoria, are thrilled to bring this fun and entertaining activity to Peoria. They became hooked on escape rooms after completing their first game, “The Cabin,” at Champaign-Urbana Adventures in Space and Time. Ever since, they have been on a mission to find the next best escape room game! They love spending time with their beautiful daughter, Luna, and lovable, silly pooches, Nitro, Turbo, and Crash.
Steve and Kendra Whittle
Steve, co-owner of Escapetown Peoria, is a financial analyst in St. Louis, MO, and a proud alum of Monmouth College. He has loved escape rooms since he solved the “Walk Like an Egyptian” clue in “The Tomb” room in downtown Maplewood, MO with his brothers and sisters-in-law. Steve enjoys waterskiing and hanging out with his three favorite girls, Kendra, Harper and Margot.
Game Master / Manager
Hi! I’m Chloe and I’ve been working for Escapetown since January of 2021! I plan on pursuing a career in secondary education! I love reading and music! I really enjoy seeing how people think when they’re in escape rooms, and how each group goes about things differently!
Game Master / Manager
Beth Ann is an escape enthusiast who has escaped over 30 rooms! She thoroughly enjoys playing escape rooms, but also gets a kick out of being a game master for you, as you try to escape! She also participates on and off stage in many community theatre productions at both Corn Stock Theatre and Peoria Players Theatre, in her spare time.
Game Master / Manager
This is Kerri O, he likes Escape Games, so much that he started working here in the summer of 2019! His interests are video games, international children’s television programs, and game shows. He moved to Peoria in 2008 and still has no clue where 70% of anything is in town. (NOTICE: Will not get along with any Steelers or Ravens fans).
Hi! My name is Jenniffer. I love escape rooms, video games, and cinematography! My favorite room is Storm Grove Mansion since it aligns with my love for all things spooky.
Hey future escapers, my name is Alyssa! I am new to the Peoria area, and when I’m not helping out as a Game Master, I’m probably deeply lost and driving in circles somewhere trying to find Five Guys (there wasn’t one back home). In my free time, I LOVE hockey (any team but the Peoria Rivermen, sorry not sorry). I just received my phlebotomy license and I’m pumped to see where this new journey will take me! Before starting here, I already LOVED escape rooms and estimate that I’ve played 35+. I can be quite competitive and bossy in rooms that I actually get to play, but hey. I’m a Leo, so what can you expect? I’ll see you all on the other side, if you can escape!
Hi, I’m Angelic! I’m a homebody that loves puzzles and critical thinking. I’m still new to escape rooms but running a game is always a fun experience.
My name is Tori! When I’m not working you can either find me thrifting for hours at a time or snuggled up with my cat in bed online shopping. I’m also obsessed with anything involving Animal Crossing or Legend of Zelda. I’m excited to learn more about how people work their way through puzzles in our escape rooms!
My name is Jonah Metzger and I’ve been a game master since April 2021! I have loved escape rooms since I did the Wild West room at EscapeTown Peoria a few years ago! I have escaped from 15-20 rooms since then! I currently attend Dunlap High School! Go Eagles! I love The Office, Grey’s Anatomy, and Game of Thrones (and was content with the finale). I love my cats (Callie pictured right/Phoebe pictured left) and treat them like my children! I hope to one day create my own escape room!
Hi! My name is Lexi! I love all things spooky, the snow, and writing. My favourite room at Escapetown is Storm Grove Mansion. My favourite part of working at Escapetown is seeing the joy and excitement when someone figures a puzzle out.
Hello! I am Sofia and I’ve been a game master since October 2021! I’ve done escape rooms all over the states and I love them so much. If I’m not at work, I’m singing and dancing or watching netflix. I love watching the thought process of you guys doing the escape rooms but especially your joy when you finally escape! I hope to see you at Escapetown Peoria 🙂
Kris McClelland escaped from her first escape room over five years ago while visiting Branson. Her group started the game in the dark handcuffed to a wall. Since then she and her family have completed more games than she can count. She and her husband Gregg have six children, 3 grandchildren, a really cute mini schnauzer and 38 (yes 38) chickens!! They plan to start a farm in the coming years. She is excited to put her communications and theatre degree to use to expand the public knowledge of Escapetown and plan some fun special events!
Robert Spencer is a 5th year at Bradley university studying psychology and interested in theatre. He is very excited to be a game master at escape town Peoria. His favorite part of escape rooms is seeing the look on people’s faces when they make it out of the rooms.
